Teri Netterville and Denise Arthur share what podcaster Joe Rogan observed while he was working in Hollywood. He explains Hollywood is a place where people who are really very insecure go to become famous, only it almost never happens. The volume of rejection is huge, crushing people who are already very insecure. Rogan said, “The entire mindset of that part of the country is doing things that you think other people will like. They are insecure people that go to a place where they’re going to get rejected a lot. It’s the worst thing ever for their mental health.” It quickly becomes saying and doing whatever it takes to advance that career towards the goal of becoming famous. They become parrots.
