William (Bill) Tuttle, DSc, MHA, LFACHE, served 38 years in various administrative positions with Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation, one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in the United States. In addition, Dr. Tuttle was Chief Operating Office of Campbell Clinic, a national leader providing regional Orthopedic care. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Memphis, a Bachelor of Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma Baptist University, and a Master of Health Administration from Washington University School of Medicine. In 2017, Dr. Tuttle was awarded an Executive Doctor of Science (DSc) degree in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Alabama – Birmingham. Dr. Tuttle serves as a Commissioner and is the immediate past Chairman of the Accreditation Council of the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). Additionally, he is a current member of the Board of Directors for the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA). Dr. Tuttle was recognized as a 2014 Public Health Champion by the University of Memphis School of Public Health and is the recipient of the 2014 Joy Clay Outstanding Service Award from the University of Memphis Master of Health Administration Program. Dr. Tuttle is a Life Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (LFACHE) and received the 2016 ACHE Service Award as well as served as a faculty member presenting at the 2015 and 2016 ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership.
