We love music, of course we do. More Australians caught a gig in 2018 then attended a major sporting event. It is a vital, billion dollar industry - but it's getting harder for the people who actually make the music to make a living. Only 16% of musicians earn more than $50 thousand dollars a year. Musicians are being squeezed out of venues by noise complaints. They’re having to market themselves, prove themselves, build a profile and hustle.
