A peacemaker, from a Biblical perspective, is not passive, but is someone who actively pursues opportunity to reconcile people to God and each other. Matthew 5:9, Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called Sons of God. Jesus life message was all about bringing peace and he proclaimed in the great Sermon on the Mount; Disciples, Christians you need to be peacemakers!
