Talked with Charlene Farrington, Exec Dir., Spady Cultural Heritage Museum. Located in Delray Beach, FL they are located in the former home of Solomon D. Spady. The museum offers a wide variety of programs to the community from exhibits, to historical bus tours, Saturday kimetic yoga, youth programs and events. They currently have a graphic novel exhibition Eroica feature heroes of color running. This year listeners can participate in the book club where they'll dissucss the novel and then the graphic novel and can take a field trip to a comic book shop, and learn some of the techniques for writing/designing/coloring a comic. They also have their annual MLK Jr brunch coming up on Monday January 20th.
