Professor Ross Homel interviewed by Paul Draper - May 2008. Professor Ross Homel is one of Australia’s leading social scientists who’s spent most of his career trying to prevent troubled kids heading for prison or the cemetery. He’s a co-founder of the Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth, and co-director of Pathways to Prevention Project, an early intervention program based in Brisbane. As well as many international and national awards, in 2007 he received the Order of Australia in recognition of his services to education and criminology.
