We Cannot Know True Love Without God’s Guidance

Parental Love

“Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12: 29-31) This month’s theme will discuss love. The dictionary describes love as an emotion. We cannot serve God through emotion. Satan works through emotions all the time. We serve God through the heart. Love is therefore the fulfilling of the law. It is expressed or demonstrated through obedience to the law of God, and walking in the testimony of Jesus Christ.
