This week on the OTCBPodcast we're joined by Chet Koneczny and Jamie Shewchuck. First up, Chet has been living out in the Maritimes for the past few years and has seen first hand the growth of lacrosse on the East Coast. However, we need to do more than just put sticks in kids hands; so along with the Halifax Thunderbirds, Turtle Island Lacrosse, the Black Lacrosse Players Alliance and the Indigenous Players Lacrosse Association they have announced a new partnership to Include and Empower. Then we'll head to Denver, where Jamie has been living for over a decade. A former 2nd round NLL draft pick by Colorado, Shewy would be named to the NLL's All-Rookie team, en route to an impressive pro career. But after he was done, he wanted to stay involved so one conversation with his GM was all it took to start his broadcasting career.
