'Medicine Game' is an eye opening tale of life on the Reservations with main character Tommy Henry as he struggles with being a leader on his lacrosse team, a son, a brother and a boyfriend all while dealing with the pressures of being a young man who feels the weight and darkness of depression. Powless uses his own experiences as a young lacrosse players to bring you up close and personal with each and every character in the book. A former first overall NLL draft pick, Powless is now a youth counsellor working with the younger generation who are looking to break the stereotypes and enjoy all life has to offer.
