She is a research assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology and core faculty at UNC's Injury Prevention Research Center. Dr. Naumann’s main area of research has focused on understanding risk factors and trends of unintentional injuries and evaluating injury prevention interventions, largely in the areas of road traffic injury and opioid overdose.
