Comedy
Hello and welcome to episode 9 of One on Lund! In this week's offering, host Nathan Lund recaps the recent return of comedy debate show Arguments & Grievances to Denver! Nathan debated Mara Wiles but had to defend his Denver Comedy Championship in a surprise match with part-time human mountain range Mitch Jones! Although Mitch threw Nathan off of the stage at the Oriental Theater, the champ was able to rally and overcome his opponent in dramatic fashion. Nathan may have lost his debate with Mara, but at least he is still the Denver Comedy Champion! There are some fun shows in Denver coming up, and Nathan did his best to plug away! Tomorrow night (4.20) at Vine Street Pub you can see Nathan host a free show starting at 10pm that will feature Janae Burris, Aaron Urist, and Christie Buchele doing 20 minute sets. 4 comics, 20 minutes on 4.20. How festive! Also in April, Lucha Libre & Laughs returns to the Oriental Theater on Friday, April 27th at 8pm. The best in professional wrestling and stand up comedy collide to form the most fun show around! Get tickets now to make sure you don't miss out on the hilarious and exciting LLL! At the end of the month, Nathan will be a part of Byron Graham's new podcast Mutiny Book Club! Come watch a live recording at Mutiny Information Cafe on Sunday, April 29th at 4pm. Byron, Nathan, and librarian extraordinnaire Tara Bannon Williamson will discuss "Exit West" by Mohsin Hamid. Tara curates a free comedy show at the Park Hill Library, so check it out if you get a chance! One on Lund is a painfully personal podcast featuring Denver Comedy Champion Nathan Lund.
