Marilyn Johnston, poet and story teller, gave her mother a tape recorder and asked her to share something about her life ... something Marilyn's daughters could remember about their grandmother. Marilyn was surprised to hear her mother's story about joining the U.S. Coast Guard as a SPAR during WWII.
