Iowa State started the season 1-0 with an interesting win to say the least against Northern Iowa. Matt, Jake and Matthias dove in to what was the triple overtime thriller inside Jack Trice Stadium on Saturday. Iowa State was unable to finish some drives with touchdowns and some self inflicted wounds should be easily corrected. There should be some correctable mistakes for Matt Campbell to fix before the big Cy-Hawk showdown in two weeks.Matt went back and watched the game on Sunday to ease his mind a bit. He found a few things that were very positive that should go a long ways towards a successful season. Matthias also things the run blocking trumped the pass protection for the first time and the Cyclones will have to get creative with pass protection against Iowa. Most of us during the game were rather worried, but looking back on it now we don't think it spells doom for the Cyclones.Once again we are back with the "Here Comes The Money" segment. Among the games this week are Texas and LSU as well as North Carolina and Miami. We also quickly dive into the NFL season starting up this Thursday.
