Part 1 - Introduction and Personal Testimony and Prayer Paraclete (Par-a-klete) – Comforter. A name that refers to the Helper or Holy Spirit. Paraclete comes from the Greek word “Parakleton” – Para = alongside of; Kleton = Greek, verb, to call. Paraclete is “One who comes alongside of to help” or as Jesus explained: “For He dwells with you and will be in you.” Father God gave us the Paraclete (Holy Spirit) as our Helper, Advocate, Encourager, and Friend who will come alongside us to help us.
