Nadya Okamoto is the founder and Executive Director of PERIOD -- the Menstrual Movement. Nadya is a 21-year old Harvard student originally from Portland where her family experienced homelessness. At the age of 16, Nadya decided to take action to end period poverty for the 1 in 4 women who cannot afford period products. Since then, they have addressed over 800,000 periods for women all over the country. Brad and Nadya talk about their work together ending the tampon tax, changing the culture around periods, the power of Generation Z and the first-ever National Period Day on October 19th!
