I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer at the age of 36. I was a young mom going through chemo treatment and raising two kids. Chemo side effects were rough on me and without my family’s support I don't think I would have survived. My sister and I started www.thewarriorbox.com for cancer fighting moms who don't have the support that I did while I was doing chemo. A care package filled with useful items to help soothe chemo symptoms. Because of my cancer experience, I wanted to share my story and empower as many cancer moms as possible. www.momsbattlingcancer.com is a podcast created by my sister Christina and I, for moms raising children and battling cancer. A space where we connect with specialists, cancer coaches, cancer fighting moms / survivors, and cover topics that affect and touch our community.
