Averyn and I begin this journey covering the first episode of HBO's, docu-series, I'll Be Gone in the Dark: Murder Habit. For any true crime lover, this feels personal. It was like watching someone with similar obsessions (the wonderful Michelle McNamara) dive far past where we would dare to go.
