Today’s guest is Che Dyer - who you may know as @indieyogalife or as @indieberries on social media. Che is a yoga teacher based in London in the UK who specialises in healing through creativity and working with the heart. I’ve know Che for quite a long time, from university, through to the hey days of blogging when people used to actually write and read and comment on blog posts back before Instagram became the micro blogging platform it is today. It’s been so wonderful for me to watch Che’s journey and she really is a source of light and laughter and inspiration in my life and in my newsfeed! In today’s episode we chat about her path to becoming a yoga teacher, the magic of yoga and mediation, the impact of becoming spiritually awakened on relationships with ourselves and with others, as well as the identity shifts that occur within when you start embracing this “woo-woo” lifestyle. We also chat abut the relationship between creativity and yoga and how the process of creating can bring you to a deeper place of focus and awareness. We also delve into the land of sober-curious and the interesting effect that alcohol has on our lives once we gain access to that deeper place of being. Let’s just say both Che and I have a love / hate relationship with the good old booze bottle! Without further ado, let’s get into this week’s chat. Enjoy!
