In Luke 15 Jesus tells three short stories about lost things with the third famously being about the lost or "prodigal" son. But with two brothers in the story - which son is the lost one? For each of the brothers, much like those who Jesus originally told the story too, there was something significant they were missing. Something that each of us could miss too- an invitation. An invitation to stop searching in all the wrong places for some, and an invitation to stop striving after all the wrong things for others.
