Society & Culture
Not many things we do before we're potty-trained toddlers stick with us throughout our lives...at least, hopefully not. However, for Jenna Czaplewski, one interest of hers—held since her earliest years—has not only remained, but amplified. Books. Their magical nature, ability to transport and captivate, as well as their power to educate and develop empathy within the reader...it all clicked with Jenna from a young age. This unconditional, unabashed love has led her to amass a collection of hundreds upon hundreds of books, contribute to local literacy as member of her local library board for over a decade, and to even start a book blog, called The Girl With Book Lungs (which can be found online at girlwithbooklungs.com, as well as on Facebook—@girlwithbooklungs). For Jenna, books have been a constant. A tenet of her life. For you, that likely isn't the case. But, if Jenna teaches us one thing it's that we're all readers, some of us just haven't found the right book yet. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/journeymenpdcst/support
