MMR reduction and the hard yards yet to be made

In the recently concluded pink ball test between India and Bangladesh, Sanjay Manjrekar struck a controversy with his co-commentator, Harsha Bhogle. For years, watching Sanjay, in different avatars, Cricketer, Commentator and Singer, I thought that he is no-nonsense person, who gives brutally honest opinions about different facets of his life. But my observations have turned sour from what I have seen and read of him in the last 18 months or so. Here I’m talking about a series of his foot-in-mouth moments which depict that he isn’t any pull-no-punches commentator but a bitter man.
