Episode 48 of the conversations between Dr. Yogita Pant and Dr. Anil Chawla discusses the building of a huge convention centre for Paandavs by Mayaasur, the engineer of daitys. After the burning down of Khaandav forest by Agni dev, Mayaasur was sitting with Arjun and Krishn feeling most obliged. He offered to do something for Arjun. But Arjun was hesitant in asking for a favour from someone whose life he had saved. So, Arjun asked Mayaasur to do whatever Krishn asked him to do. Krishn asked Mayaasur to build a sabhaa bhavan (convention centre) for King Yuddhishthir. Mayaasur was very happy to do so. He travelled to a far-off place north of Himalayas and got some key valuable construction materials from there. He also got a superb gadaa for Bhim and a special shankh (conch) for Arjun. Mayaasur constructed a massive and extremely beautiful sabha bhavan for Yuddhishthir in fourteen months. After completing the bhavan and handing it over to King Yuddhishthir, Mayaasur departed from Indraprasth. (Mahabharat/Sabhaaparv/Sabhaakriya Parv/Chapter 1-3).

Mahabharat and Valmiki Ramayan are the two fundamental foundation epics of Hinduism. Mahabharat teaches one about every aspect of life. The struggle in the epic is the clash between two different life-values. Dwaipaayan Krishn and Vaasudev Krishn put in relentless and continuous efforts to establish and strengthen the same fundamental values and ideals for which Ram fought the war against Raavan. By learning and understanding this story and by adopting the learnings into our behaviour we can make our life happy and rich.
