If you have been listening to the podcast or following for some time you know my absolute conviction that quality hands-on soft tissue treatment is the best and most effective method to help fix an injury. I have been accused over the years of "bashing" other treatment modalities, specifically Chiropractic or traditional Physical Therapy. It's not that I am being mean, I'm just being honest and sometimes the truth hurts. Massage therapists are the best-equipped practitioners there are to deliver advanced soft tissue treatments, yet they get bullied or looked down upon by Chiros and PTs. This episode was inspired by seeing those limiting beliefs by some massage therapists thinking they weren't on the same level as Chiropractors and PTs, even though their treatments are clearly superior! I did my best to explain why soft tissue is the key, the limitations of PT & Chiropractic when it comes to getting sustainable results. Lastly, I brought some motivation and fire to help massage therapists crush their limiting beliefs and stop taking shit from other inferior treatment practitioners!
