It happened 130 years ago so the odds of solving it are slim to none. But it's not just the mystery of the murder case that intrigues me but the situation leading up to it. John Curtis lived on the east side of the Willamette River (in the vicinity of where the Oregon Convention Center stands today) and he had two women in his life, one of which may have been responsible for his murder.
