நாடு போற்றும் நலத்திட்டங்கள் ! குறைந்த விலையில் முழு உடல் பரிசோதனை செய்ய அம்மா ஆரோக்யா திட்டம் (Amma Arogya Thittam: Master health checkup)
சென்னை: சென்னை ராஜீவ்காந்தி அரசு பொது மருத்துவமனையில் ‘அம்மா முழு உடல் பரிசோதனை மையம்’ 2016-ல் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. ஏழை மக்கள் குறைந்த கட்டணத்தில் முழு உடலை பரிசோதனை செய்துகொள்ளும் இந்த மையத்தை அப்போதைய முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா திறந்து வைத்தார்.
இதற்கு மக்களிடம் நல்ல வரவேற்பு கிடைத்தது. இதையடுத்து, சென்னை அண்ணா சாலையில் உள்ள அரசு பன்னோக்கு உயர் சிறப்பு மருத்துவமனையில் ‘அம்மா முழு உடல் பரிசோதனை மையம்’ கடந்த 2018-ல் அப்போதைய முதல்வர் கே.பழனிசாமியால் திறந்து வைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த புதிய மையத்தில் ரூ.4,000 கட்டணத்தில் அம்மா பிளாட்டினம் பிளஸ் பரிசோதனை திட்டமும் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது.
திமுக ஆட்சிக்கு வந்த பின்னர் அரசு பன்னோக்கு உயர் சிறப்பு மருத்துவமனையில் உள்ள மையத்தில் நவீன உபகரணங்களுடன், புதிய பரிசோதனைகள் இணைக்கப்பட்டன.
இந்நிலையில், ‘அம்மா முழு உடல் பரிசோதனை மையம்’ என்ற பெயர் ‘அதிநவீன முழு உடல் பரிசோதனை திட்டம்’ என்று மாற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஏற்கெனவே ராஜீவ்காந்தி அரசு பொது மருத்துவமனையில் அம்மா என்ற பெயர் நீக்கப்பட்டு, முழு உடல் பரிசோதனை மையம் என்ற பெயரில் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது. இதுகுறித்து மருத்துவமனை நிர்வாகத்திடம் கேட்டபோது, “அம்மா முழு உடல் பரிசோதனை மையத்தில் நவீன உபகரணங்களுடன் கூடிய கூடுதல் பரிசோதனைகள் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அதனால்தான் ‘அதிநவீன முழு உடல் பரிசோதனை மையம்’ என்று பெயர் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது” என்றார்.
Amma Master Health Checkup Scheme, launched by the Tamil Nadu Government on 01 March 2016 will now be extended to all the districts in the state. Until now, the health checkup facility under the Amma Master Health Checkup scheme was available only at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH). But now, the facility would be made available at several health institutions across the state.
Under the Amma Master Health Checkup scheme, tests including those for blood, urine, sugar, thyroid, screening for cholesterol, liver function, besides diagnostic investigations like ECG, and USG abdomen would be done at a very nominal fee.
Since the launch of Amma Master Health Checkup scheme in March 2016, over 16,500 people have been benefited from the scheme. The health checkups are done on the first come first serve basis under the scheme. The interested people can also book an appointment under the Amma Master Health Checkup scheme at the official website at www.mmcmhc.in
