On Episode #15 of the Down In The Dirt Podcast, I talk with Ronnie Williams, who is a Pitcher in the St. Louis Cardinals Organization. Ronnie talks about his experience of being drafted out of high school and the emotions he had, from not only getting drafted but getting to spend that day with his family. After signing his Professional Contract and heading off to Rookie Ball, Ronnie shares the adjustments he had to make to the schedule of Professional Baseball and how making those adjustment have allowed him to find success in his career. Ronnie also takes us through the mental battle of dealing with an injury and what it takes to recover and come back stronger from his injury and make adjustments to his routine that have allowed him to stay healthy over the course of the season. Being one step away from being in the Major Leagues, Ronnie tells you the mindset you have to have to remain focused on your goals to ultimately achieve them one day.
