‘Little Joe’ is a short-form documentary series set in the hyperreal world of Debt Collector Joseph El Azzi. With his unique voice and compelling stories, Joe gives the viewer a voyeuristic insight into the grinding gears of a debt dependent society, through the eyes of a guy who grew up and is now fixture in the infamous crime belt of Sydney’s western suburbs. Episode 1 shows the beginning of Joe’s origin story, where he grew up and touches on his failed school life and turbulent family life. He explains how he repossessed a taxi no-one could get and a bumpy repression from a Korean family who weren’t happy about handing over their car.
