Parent-led kids devotion focusing on Light. In this devo, we learn from Genesis 1:3-5 that God is the Creator. As we walk outside with our kids in this devo, we will see how our view of the sun changes through the day and perhaps watch sunset with your kids. Talk about how God began his creation of the world as we know it by bringing light and setting the rhythms of day and night. We can appreciate the light & daytime and then appreciate dark and night because God knew what he was doing when he created these rhythms- that we can live fully and then rest well. Dig deeper by talking about how a new day is a new opportunity to start fresh, leaving behind yesterdays frustrations or mistakes and living in new light! God is good in how he designed this world.
