Mixing up the Blessing of Fire and Spices Feb 21 2020 Text from Todays Class: סוּמָא אֵינוֹ מְבָרֵךְ עַל הַנֵּר. וּמִי שֶׁאִם לְאַחַר שֶׁבֵּרֵךְ עַל הַיַּיִן וְאוֹחֵז אֶת הַבְּשָׂמִים בְּיָדוֹ וְנִתְכַּוֵּן לְבָרֵךְ עֲלֵיהֶם, טָעָה בִּלְשׁוֹנוֹ וְאָמַר, בּוֹרֵא מְאוֹרֵי הָאֵשׁ, וְתוֹךְ כְּדֵי דִּבּוּר נִזְכַּר וְסִיֵּם עוֹד בּוֹרֵא מִינֵי בְּשָׂמִים, עָלְתָה לוֹ הַבְּרָכָה לְהַבְּשָׂמִים, וּמְבָרֵךְ אַחַר כָּךְ עַל הַנֵּר. אֲבָל אִם נִתְכַּוֵּן בְּבִרְכָתוֹ עַל הַנֵּר, עָלְתָה לוֹ עַל הַנֵּר, וּמְבָרֵךְ אַחַר כָּךְ עַל הַבְּשָׂמִים.
