Ken W. Good is on the board of directors for Professional Bondsmen of Texas. He has argued cases before the Supreme Court of Texas and the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, along with numerous courts of appeals, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is the author of Good’s on Bail, a practice guide created for bail industry professionals. In addition, he has written numerous articles on the subject of bail reform, including "What Successful Bail Reform Looks Like." Ken talks about the many failed attempts at bail reform across the country. It is based upon the tension of dealing with more cases than can be handled versus personal accountability. Ken explains some of the dangers of practices like catch and release and the use of algorithms as a one size fits all for determining bail availability. Philip Sharp talks about piracy, Left wing tactics, and the current trends of refusing to apply accountability to certain crimes. Somehow, they are shown to be related when the concept of the exercise of political power is considered.
