It's helpful to talk about grief. It's helpful to try to wrap our heads around it—in part because we are, at least momentarily, removed from the all consuming nature of it and allowed to conceptualize its theory. Philosophy gives us a break in that way. In this episode, I tell the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead and then share a bit about what I make of all of it. I also tell a personal story of grief. It's harder to talk about that. I talk about reincarnation, too. At the end of all of it, I share some thoughts on how ordinary mortals like you and me can connect with loved ones lost. It's a rambly one, for sure.Grateful for you.HONORABLE MENTIONS:First episode of Throwing LightEpisode on what the heck I believe called Spiritual CookiesShelby Forsythia's book, Permission to GrieveThank you for listening!
