Formerly of Los Angeles, CA, Javen Campbell is the classic example of a musician who has the dynamic talents of a singer/songwriter, actor, pastor, speaker, author, and TV host. Javen was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the White House & President Barack Obama for his humanitarian efforts in the community. In this podcast episode of the "Cultivate Your Success Podcast," Javen talks about taking advantage of the moment, NOW and overcoming obstacles in your life. We also touch on a few chapters of his upcoming book, "Do It Now, Why Wait For Better When Your Best is NOW." He talks about understanding that YOUR perception is not necessarily the reality. Javen also talks about "walking ON purpose" opposed to "walking with purpose." Here's a brief bio about Javen and how God is using him to help and serve others. Javen starred in numerous stage productions. He was a lead in the theatrical production of A Raisin in the Sun. From 2002-2003 he starred in the off-Broadway musical The Rock and the Rabbi. From 2007 to 2011 Javen has had supporting roles in other feature films like Abandoned also starring Britney Murphy, The Lost Woman, The Sixth, and Preacher’s Kid a Warner Brothers film released in 2010 staring LaToya Luckett formerly of Destiny Child. In 2013 Javen founded Worship in the Now Ministries Inc which later produced the NOW church that next year in 2014; he hosts a once a month artist showcase event called the Encounter for local artists giving them a platform to display their gifts and talents. Javen & the NOW Church recently opened the NOW CENTER in Hollywood, FL a multi-purpose facility that houses special events for after school programs, local domestic issues, open mic events, fitness, and so much more. His TV Show NOW Living with Javen launched fall 2017. NOW Living offers information and programming that will inspire viewers to stay in the fight of life and never give up.
