Deliverence of the Israelites from slavery and oppression in Egypt required a spiritual victory of God over the gods and powers of Egypt. Each of the ten plagues was God demonstrating his superiority over every other power, His perfect judgment, and prefigured His advancing Kingdom. When King Jesus arrived He announced His intent and purpose - freedom, healing and salvation! God's Kingdom continues to advance today and we are invited to be agents of His Kingdom as we anticipate the return of THE KING!
