This week the podcast I have the pride and joy of Selkirk Ontario. Jack Phibbs, like many hockey players, had his junior hockey career come to an abrupt end a few weeks ago, when the Ontario Hockey League, like everyone else, was forced to shut things down because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jack was playing in his fourth season with the Flint Firebirds. He and his teammates were poised for a big layoff run before the season was canceled. But it’s not all bad news. Jack recently announced that his hockey career will continue after committing to play for the University of Waterloo Warriors. Thank you so much for listening. It really is appreciated.
