Whitney Edwards has worked in the sports industry as a women's college basketball coach over the past 11 seasons. In June of 2020, Whitney was named to her first head coaching position at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY where she proudly returned to her home state. Her background includes coaching diverse teams to improve individually and collectively on the court. In this episode we’re talking with Whitney about intersectionality, what it means and how it shows up in our everyday lives. while also sharing about her specific experience as a queer black woman in America.
