CLR Show 1705. Air Date January 18, 2022. Most republicans appear to be operating under the delusion that the facade that is Trump is as perpetual as it is real. It is neither, at least in an politically meaningful form. The odds increase on a daily basis that Donald will be indicted by either NYS or by some Federal District, possibly by both. The immediate and longer terms consequences of such an indictment will be profound for Donald and his public life, and hugely challenging for the country, republicans and democrats alike. Republicans: Why not just jettison him now?
