Miscellaneous

In addition to being an accomplished artist, Mat Vizbulis, has found attention in another respect, by saving the lives of three individuals back in 2006. Although we discuss art and music, in this podcast, Mat was a recipient of the prestigious Star Of Courage & Carnegie Medals: https://www.niagarathisweek.com/news-story/3266457-fonthill-hero-honoured-with-carnegie-medal/ https://toronto.citynews.ca/2006/07/30/niagara-mans-heroic-efforts-save-family-from-river-tragedy/ https://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/remembrance/medals-decorations/details/106?fbclid=IwAR1rni2NtMOrBEbDtNdjKaVObyUedxxXNtHJEBguTg25tJVQA6uV__DpSgQ Here we discuss several things with Mat relating to his work and being a Graffiti & TMD artist. From walking down St. Paul Street, to checking out Mat's new mural, to having a pint and a chat at The Merchant Ale House, and stopping into Mat's studio at The Niagara Artist's Centre - to see what he is currently working on, and speaking about the work he has hanging exclusively at famed restaurant: Bolete, we cover some territory.. Also, be sure to checkout Mat's recently completed mural, adjacent to the back of the old Lincoln Theatre on St. Paul St., nestled behind the new Dispatch restaurant, Pool City Billiards and The Wharehouse.
