You have well-meaning people in your life who say they understand, that you can get past this, that you’re strong and you just need to think positive. You have people who don’t know what to say, and because of this, they force positivity onto you. Eat a banana, get more sleep, exercise more, they say. They mean well, but it hurts and invalidates how you really feel. You don’t want someone to tell you they understand and to get over it, you want someone to hear you – really hear you – and take your hand and say yes, that really sucks. It really sucks to feel as bad as you do and you are valued even when you’re having a terrible day. It sucks, it really sucks. I hear you and want you to know that you are valued and your experiences were really difficult. It’s okay to feel stuck and immobilized by fear or to have a terrible day. It’s okay to feel this way. And it sucks. I have something for you, something for those terrible days when you feel that no one is listening and they want you to think positive. You can listen to this any time and know that you’re not alone, and that it really sucks to feel as you do right now. It really sucks, okay? I believe you and I see you. You are valued, I promise. You’re not alone. You’re not alone. You are not alone.I can see that you’re in pain. It’s horrible that you feel this way, but it’s okay to feel this way. You’re doing the best you can and I see how hard you try. But I see that you’re in pain, and that sucks.I don’t understand what you’re going through, but I support you. I support you in your feelings, and in your nightmares. I support you when you’re feeling weak and hurt and alone. I support you.You are safe here. You are safe in this space. Safe to close your eyes and breathe. Safe to unclench your hands and relax your arms. Safe to unclench your jaw. Safe to lean back into your chair, just for a moment. Safe to close your eyes. Safe to take a deep breath. Safe to yell. Safe to cry. Safe to sit in silence. You’re safe here.It might feel like things are happening all over again. I’m so sorry. That’s a horrible feeling. But you’re not alone. I support you. I believe in your strength. I’m here to be the voice in your mind that tells you, you are not alone. You’re safe in this moment. It’s okay to have bad days. It’s okay to have the worst days. It’s okay. You are okay. You are valued. And you are validated in your feelings. You are okay. You are okay. I know things are awful right now and you might not see a way out. That’s okay. You don’t have to put on a brave face here. You can be you. You’re not crazy. You’re not living in the past. You’re not unable to move on. You’re strong. And you’re dealing with something horrible. That’s okay. Because, even if you’re not okay right now. Or not okay for a long time, you will be. I believe in you. I believe in you and want you to know that you are valued. You are valued.I’m on your side. I know things are hard and I know you’re hurting. I’m so sorry you’re hurting. It’s horrible. It’s not your fault, and it never was your fault. You’re human. You’re hurting. You’re so strong for coming this far. You’re doing better than you know. And you’re not alone. I’m here with you, right now, and I want you to know that you matter. You can be safe in this moment because I’m here with you. I believe you. I believe you. I believe you. I see you there. I see you hurting and trying your best. I see you hurting. And I believe you. You have my support. I’ll be here for you. I’m here for you. I’ll walk beside you and hold your hand. You’re safe here, you’re safe in this space. You’re safe here. You’re safe to have these feelings and not pretend to be strong. You’re safe to hurt and want to be understood. You’re safe to want someone to believe you. I believe you. And I believe in you. I believe you. I see you. #asmrforptsd #asmrfordepression #ptsdveteranSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/tome-by-tome-asmr/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
