WHAT YOU WILL LEARN 12 lessons for achieving success and avoiding tragedy during a standoff with federal agents Avoid killing federal agents like the plague. Always be recording and be surrounded by others who are recording using methods that cannot be confiscated. Maintain access to alternative media that is both influential and sympathetic to your cause. Avoid illegal weapons. Do not hide or isolate yourself from the public. Gather enough trustworthy local supporters to vastly outnumber on-site federal agents. Actively maintain positive public relations. Maintain communication with federal agents involved. Redundancy: backup supplies, sources of electricity, methods of communication, surveillance, escape routes. If government brings tanks, they're planning to kill people, and you should leave without detection. Don't let your dogs run loose. Develop and apply critical thinking. MESSAGE OF THE DAY The Bundy's and their supporters did an outstanding job. That said, we can keep learning from these experiences and do better each time until one day, we'll have so much wisdom and experience establishing and maintaining freedom, that government aggressors will avoid us like a skunk with it's tail up.
