It's All Mental

Miscellaneous

We are still fighting against the pandemic, social injustices and the “new normal”, life can be extremely stressful right now.  So what do we do when we begin to get overwhelmed emotionally?  We have to take a step back and recharge ourselves.  There are several ways to do this.  From shutting down our electronics for a few hours or a day to refocus and bring our normalcy back. Other ways we can recharge our batteries are taking power naps that are limited to twenty minutes or less.  Another great way to focus on resetting our minds is taking a staycation or going out for the day and doing something we enjoy.  This needs to be scheduled in and we need to place priority on it, otherwise we won’t do it.  You shouldn’t feel guilty for doing this, as it can sometimes be crucial for our mental well-being.   -- Topics Discussed: How to recharge yourself.
