In this episode, we talk with Nick Neon, who is a Korean-American filmmaker and actor who spent most of his 20's living in South Korea. He returned to the States with his award-winning short film, Ultra Bleu: A semi-biographical coming-of-age narrative about a 20-something and lost queer kid trying to figure out adulthood. A love letter to his 20's, Nick is back with a sequel titled, "Zero One". Nick talks about what inspired him to create his own films, his issues around less-represented demographics in media, and how he experienced his breakthrough in making films that give insight into the more diverse stories that need to be told. Nick is completely transparent and honest in this conversation and shares with us his inner-most struggles as an artist and the internal pressure to produce results by a certain age. We really appreciate Nick for joining us in the this conscious conversation segment and sharing his unique message from the bottle. Tune in and connect! www.messagesfromabottle.com
