To erase a journal entry in QuickBooks Online, follow these simple steps. Begin by logging in to your QuickBooks account. Next, proceed to the Settings (gear icon) and select Chart of Accounts. Locate the account associated with the journal entry and select View Register. Find the journal entry you wish to erase. Select it to open. Once you've opened it, select More at the bottom of the screen, and then tap Delete. There will be a message saying that you're sure, so tap Yes. Your journal entry is now gone. Be careful, however, since once it's deleted, you can't retrieve it. Double-check always before deleting something important.
