The panelists and moderator all personally were affected by either facing a furlough or layoff during the COVID pandemic and they talk about strategies used and lessons learned - and how they are applying those experiences and challenges to their jobs today and advocating for themselves and their staffs. These four CoSIDA members either jumped into new athletic communications leadership roles during the pandemic or dealt with being furloughed, and what challenges they faced during the furlough and then returning to their positions.
