He’s a Christian and general pediatrician with global health training and a strong interest in equitable access to healthcare and preventive services. He combines his clinical practice with local and global health advocacy as well as research on improving neonatal survival and program implementation. He is passionate about medical education and is involved with training medical students and residents at home and abroad. We sit down with this brilliant baby-faced doctor to talk about his career, medical education journey, the comparative health care structure and policies in the US and Africa as well as posing questions to inform on myths and/or facts in health care/medicine.
