"God won't give you anything that you can't handle yourself" - UnBiblical Things That Christians Believe: Captivated For Christ Episode 9 In my walk with God, I have heard many people talk about the struggles that they are going through, and whenever I hear about their struggles I usually try to comfort them and be their for them. After they have heard this, most people respond with saying things like, "It's okay", or "Thank you for your concern". However, a new response has started to arise within the church, and it is the phrase,"It's okay, God won't give me anything I can't handle myself". The idea that God won't give you anything that you can't handle sounds nice when said or hear, however this idea is very unbiblical and not true at all. Still, the fact remains that many people say this phrase thinking that it's the truth about when really Jesus has never ever said this thing. So what is the biblical truth? Be sure to listen to the 9th episode of the Captivated For Christ podcast to find out!
