Hi everyone and welcome to another episode of Walking with Wildflowers - probably the last one for 2018 and this first season! I just wanted to thank each and everyone of of you for every download and share this year! It’s been such fun doing this podcast and I’m so looking forward to creating the next season. I have on board an editor now which is so helpful - I thought I would have time to do it all myself - but as it turns out, no. No I don’t. So shout out to Siobhan Lumsden, who has an amazing podcast of her own called The Lost Art Of Little Things, for helping me out! I really do appreciate it. But thank you again, each and every one of you for all the feedback and messages you’ve sent me regarding the different episodes and conversations we’ve had over the past few months, it really has been so great connecting to you all through this medium. I’m going to be taking a break now to set up next season properly, so you can look forward to more regular episodes with more amazing people! In today’s episode I chat to Amy Heydenrych, a South Africa writer and editor based in Johannesburg. I’ve followed Amy for a long time now, as we both went to Rhodes University and are both bloggers and vegans and we both had our babies last year! It’s been so inspiring watching Amy’s journey over the past few years as she has been so open about her experience as a writer looking to get published! Yup, that’s right, she is a published author, both here in SA and internationally, and her first book, SHAME ON YOU, has now also been picked up by Audible too! I just love how happy Amy is to help other authors and writers get themselves out there. In this episode we chat about the long road to becoming a published author, the danger of social media and wellness industry influencers, being vegan mamas, and how to manifest your dreams into being! I mean, this episode could not scream Walking With Wildflowers any louder! It’s such a great conversation. (If I say so myself. Which I do.) But before we get into it, I just wanted to let you know that, after many, many requests, the La Luna | La Femme moon journals I create with Amy and Michelle are available for order in a Quarterly Print Package which includes beautiful A5 copies of the January, February and March journals, as well as an A5 copy of the Moon Information Booklet. The moon journals each provide a page-a-day to record your feeling and thoughts, your cycle day and physical symptoms, and journal prompts to help you set your intentions for the new and full moons! The information booklet contains all the information you need on the importance of becoming attuned with your natural cycle and harnessing the power of the moon’s energy to bring real magic into your life! This print run is a test for us to see if there is a demand for the print copies, so if you are one of those people that asked about the journals being in hardcopy, please head on over to www.wearethewildflowers.co.za and place your order! Orders close on the 15th of December (which is the end of this week), so time is a-ticking! Head to www.wearethewildflowers.co.za/shop now to pre-order your La Luna | La Femme Print Package now!
