Dwelling Richly Bible Studies

Religion & Spirituality

Read and engage through Genesis 1:1-2:3 There is no more significant verse in the Bible than the first four: “In the beginning God...” From there all else is defined and all questions have their answers: Who am I? What is my purpose in life? How can know what is right? wrong? true? Genesis is the beginnings of everything – including the greatest thing: God’s great love for His creation – you. Genesis begins, as John Milton so famously described, with Paradise Lost. It opens in chaos and a garden is brought into order. From there Eden, relationships, peace, wholeness are lost. Genesis is the account of that loss but more so of “the found” – How God reached and made a way for what was lost to be found.
