GW25 was a shocking gameweek in which the only managers who thrived were those who had Liverpool, Sheffield or Newcastle defenders and captained the Egyptian King, Salah, now the highest scoring player this season. Unfortunately, neither me nor Ricky were one of these managers. Ricky played his wildcard and decided to make a bold and very stupid decision of having a team without Salah or Mane. Prash didn’t wildcard this week but made the bold and (in hindsight) stupid decision to captain Aubayemang over Salah. This week was full of blanks from many of the highly owned players, but we still gave our perspective on these players. We also previewed the strangely structured GW26, the best captain options, debated VAR, answered various questions and looked at performances from the FPL Friends league.
