Welcome back to another episode of Free Form Radio. Update on our week: In this episode, Noel discusses a movie he watched recently, Boss Level starring Frank Grillo. It is an action/comedy that combines a bit of DeadPool, Groundhog Day, and The Edge of Tomorrow. It is a great popcorn flick that entertains and leaves a lasting impression. Noel and Andy are upset with Disney and their handling of Gina Carano. Many are up in arms to cancel DisneyPlus after firing and removing Gina Carano from the Mandalorian following a few tweets that were criticized and deemed inappropriate by Disney/Lucasfilm despite many fans agreeing and siding with Gina Carano. Andy and Noel discuss the ramifications of firing Gina Carano, and the backlash Disney/Lucasfilm has faced from the fandom. It also seems to be affecting other areas of Disney including Marvel and with the current tense situation regarding politics, there does not seem to be a solution other than leaving politics out of Hollywood. The more certain agendas are pushed in Film/TV, the more the fans will tune out and the bigger the losses in revenue will be for these huge entertainment corporations. For our viewers unaware of Fry's, it was a big-box retailer that sold retail software, electronics, computer components, cosmetics, toys, magazines, and more. This was akin to a candy store for any electronics enthusiast and the fact they are no longer in business is a great loss for the industry.
