A Cup Of Moka

Society & Culture

If you think about it, recently everyone has moved toward a more isolated way of life. Despite our growing social media engagements and followings, we still seem to be disconnected somehow. Why does this even matter? As black people historically, we have built and relied on community to survive and grow- hence the saying it takes a village to raise a child. Could this be the reason we now (more than ever) feel loneliness, depression and anxiety? In this episode, our friends from Japa Diaries and I dive into the ways we can break this cycle and find community again. So, if you are feeling lonely, or just bored, the solution may be simple. Tune in to find out how you can establish genuine connections and find a place where you truly belong. For more from Japa Diaries  -> https://anchor.fm/japa-diariesFollow A Cup of Moka on Instagram -> @acupofmokapod
